Azerbaijan Airlines to purchase new Boeing passenger plane

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will purchase new Boeing 767-300ER passenger plane.  AZAL has already purchased 174-seat 2 Airbus-319 and 4 Airbus-320 aircrafts, since the end of the last year.
According to AZAL Service Chief Maharram Safarli, the new plane will enter the AZAL airpark at the second half of the day on June 2. Other new Boeing plane will be brought in first half  of 2010.  New Boeings will be used for the flights to Prague, London, Tel-Aviv, Aberdeen, Paris and cities.
M. Safarli noticed, that AZAL intends to purchase 2 Boeing-787 Dreamliner planes. These planes will be used for flights to America and other continents and cities.
AZAL has a contract with US Boeing Company and according to this contract, AZAL will change its new purchased two Boeing 737 Next-Generation aircrafts to a Boeing 767-300ER and two Boeing-767 (transport aircraft). In total, AZAL will buy 8 aircrafts from Boeing Company. Two of them will be Boeing 767-300ER, two – Boeing-767, two – Boeing-737 and two – Boeng-787-8 aircrafts.
